Knowledge is advancing at such a rapid pace that the fund of knowledge doubles once in 7 years. 7 years down the line from leaving the portals of college, we are almost non-entity if we stop reading and learning. I must say with full conviction that SYMBIOSIS fulfilled this very important obligation of providing a platform to the organization's academicians and professionals of yesteryears to keep pace with time in pursuit of expanded knowledge base.

Around 90 days of direct input, scattered through two years, rigorous scrutiny all through semester examinations compelled a balanced and reorganized routine on personal/professional/educational fronts to reach this destination. Normally during such sessions, our bodies and minds get fed to their fill. What was peculiar with SYMBIOSIS that our souls too got their share to their fill. For me, it was not a Course but an Attitude towards Learning.

The Course has really expanded the horizon of our outlook and approach towards short term and long term planning procedures and strategies to optimize the use of available resources and maximize the bottom line.

Overall SYMBIOSIS faculties/Coordinators have done a great job to sharpen our skills, expand our knowledge base, culture our attitude, and strengthen our self-confidence and most significant transforming ourselves to deal with change in our working life style.

I take this opportunity to share the joy, a sense of accomplishment and a deep sense of gratitude towards the organization and the senior management for supporting me right from the stage of Nomination to Convocation. This gesture has come as a 'Dream come true' experience for all of us and this formal management education, which was probably the lacking part in our lives, has been fulfilled at the right stage of our careers.

To that extent, I consider myself to be honored to be nominated for this input at an appropriate stage of professional career. It is said that the acquired knowledge and skills have an impact on the attitude and I think that the same will be demonstrated naturally through the much empowered decision making in our domain business areas.

"I was a student of the first BMC Software corporate EPGDBM batch along with 41 others. It was not easy to decide to commit to a 100 plus (over a period of 2 years) Saturdays for classes at the Symbiosis campus, but within a few weeks itself, we realized the immense knowledge that we were getting exposure to – it was an eye opener. The faculty was highly experienced and very knowledgeable, most or all of them with a decade or more of experience working in the industry, and thus there was less theory and more real life examples that were being talked about, based on the faculty's solid experience.
